- Learn about the procedures for LCL freight shipping by following this step-by-step guide. FIRST-TIME, INEXPERIENCED INTERNATIONAL SHIPPERS SHOULD READ THIS ARTICLE TO ENSURE A SMOOTH SHIPPING EXPERIENCE.
- This price quote is based on the information submitted. Changes in cargo measurements after palletizing or dimensional weight during U.S. domestic transportation, shipping oversized or overweight cargo, the type of commodity, pickup location, and other factors result in a price change.
- DESTINATION CHARGES ARE NOT INCLUDED AND ARE ON ACCOUNT OF THE CONSIGNEE.
- To use LCL service, cargo must be boxed, crated, or palletized and labeled with labels provided in our shipping instructions.
- Cargo that cannot be loaded into the 40’STD container with forklifts CANNOT be shipped LCL.

- NO FOOD STUFF, WINE & DRUGS. Shipping foodstuffs, including wine, drugs, edible items, animal byproducts, and supplements, is subject to detailed regulations. - International shippers must be aware of WOOD PACKING RESTRICTIONS.
- The locations of shipping terminals are subject to change and must be reconfirmed in our shipping instructions.

- USING A THIRD-PARTY ON CARGO DELIVERIES TO CFS: Due to changes in FedEx and T-Force Freight detention and re-delivery policies for LTL cargo, effective Monday, October 3rd, 2022, CFSs will no longer be allowing deliveries or pickups from these two companies. Please arrange to use an alternative carrier to deliver cargo to a Container Freight Station (CFS). IF NOT POSITIVE, CONTACT CFS BEFORE ARRANGING A THIRD-PARTY DELIVERY.
